A misty morning postcard

Misty morning

This weekend the clocks go back and Halloween looms in the air. Before all the storms, I managed to escape to see my friend Tania in Wiltshire for one night and although it was a bit of a mad dash it was just enough to turbocharge my creative batteries.

We woke up to a floating mist drifting across her beautiful garden and I rushed out in my pyjamas with my camera. I thought this week I would share with you my photos of misty jewels dripping off the cobwebs and seed heads silhouetted against the milky sky.

Scarves in the wild

I also had a bit of fun taking some of my cashmere scarves back to the garden that inspired them. How wild and free do they look draped across teasels and in blowing in trees? By the way… I only ordered 20 of each and they are selling like hot cakes.

I hope that’s inspired you as much as it did me! Thank you for reading my autumn postcard, and have a lovely week.
