FAQs

How can I pay?

Once you have added all your items to your basket you will be taken to a secure checkout page. From there you can complete your purchase. We accept all major credit/debit cards – Amex, Visa, Mastercard, Visa Delta, Solo and Maestro as well as Paypal.

When will my order arrive?

Approximate delivery times are displayed on each product page. We always endeavour to process your order as soon as it is placed, however please be aware that during busy times this may take longer. If there are ever any significant delays or a product has gone out of stock we will get in touch with you to discuss alternatives.

How much is shipping?

You can find detailed information on delivery charges for each size, region and product category on our shipping page. All orders over £100 and under £4.50 are eligible for free UK delivery.

I live outside the UK, can you deliver to me?

We certainly can. We are happy to ship our products anywhere in the world with the exception of lampshades which are too fragile. We prefer to ship cushions without their pads internationally to reduce bulk & backing cloth artworks will be sent unmounted. For all international orders including those to Europe, please contact the studio directly for a shipping quote by e-mail at sales@clarissahulse.com or call our office on +44 (0)207 226 7055 (Weekdays 9.30-17.30).

What is your returns policy?

If for any reason you are not satisfied, we will accept returns for most of our products within 28 days (14 for sale items). Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Certain products such as bespoke items, face masks and cut lengths of fabric cannot be returned unless faulty. There is more detail on our returns page here.

My item is out of stock, will you be getting more?

We always endeavour to add an expected restock date to the product page of any out-of-stock item. Please feel free to contact the sales team if an item you want is out of stock and we’ll be happy to give you an update. As a general rule of thumb, however, sales items and one-offs that go out of stock are not likely to be replenished.

I’m having trouble signing into my account, what should I do?

If you are having technical issues with the website of any sort, please get in touch with our sales team and we will be more than happy to investigate for you. It helps if you can include the device and browser you’re using so we can get to the bottom of things faster.

Can I purchase a gift voucher?

Clarissa Hulse designs make great gifts. You can purchase gift vouchers online in denominations of £20, £50 and £100 here.

Do you provide a sampling service?

You can order samples of our fabrics and wallpapers on the individual product pages. We’d highly recommend getting a sample before you purchase a larger piece to make sure you’re getting exactly what you want. Samples are limited to a maximum of 2 per design. We do not offer a sampling service for any of our other products.

My phone case hasn’t arrived with my order, where is it?

All of our phone cases are shipped directly from the supplier using Royal Mail so they will arrive separately from the rest of your order.

My wallpaper or fabric sample hasn’t arrived with my order, where is it?

Wallpaper and fabric samples are sent directly from our manufacturer, so they will arrive separately from the rest of your order.

I need a designer’s eye to help me with my colour scheme, can you help?

Of course we can, it’s what we’re good at! We’re always happy to give advice on which products work best where so feel free to give us a call and we’ll do our best to help.

Do you do bespoke commissions?

As long as we have the fabric, we can make lampshades and cushions in different sizes to suit your needs. Just drop us an email at studio@clarissahulse.com with the details and we’ll give you a quote.

Can I come and do work experience?

Unfortunately, we’re not currently accepting work experience students.

Where are your products made?

All of our products start off life as original designs created in our studio in London by Clarissa herself. Most are then manufactured right here in the UK with many of our cushions being ethically produced by a social enterprise in London. There are just one or two exceptions with our bed linen, ready-made curtains and bamboo products being manufactured overseas.

I want to see things in real life, is that possible?

Yes! Come and visit us in our Studio Shop in London. We’re always incredibly pleased to welcome customers new and old to take a look at our wares in person.
