Serendipity Cotton Poplin Fabric - Teal

£12.50
Option: Teal
Length: Half Metre
Description

This 100% cotton poplin can be used for crafting, dressmaking and quilting projects. It is a crisp, tightly woven fabric that is easy to sew with and makes an ideal starter fabric for people new to sewing. We recommend that you prewash this fabric before cutting to avoid any minor shrinkage or dye transfer that may occur. Wash on a gentle 30-40˚ cycle with mild detergent, line dry where possible and iron medium-hot.

The Serendipity fabric is an invitation to enter an enchanted garden at golden hour. Delicate layers of foliage in rich, zesty tones from hot pink, to kingfisher blue with spots of orange, mustard and teal, draw the eye into this magical world. Every flower, leaf, stem and seedhead was collected by Clarissa on one of her nature wanders.

This fabric is sold in increments of 0.5m but will be cut in one continuous piece.

ABOUT THE PRINT

Backing Cloth

Whilst printing products pinned out onto the calico backing cloth in the studio, Clarissa noticed the beautiful serendipitous designs that began to develop organically through hours of hand-printing.

"People from a planet without flowers would think we must be mad with joy the whole time to have such things about us"
