Description

Enraptured by the biodiversity encountered on a visit to the cloud forests in Costa Rica, Clarissa photographed hundreds of species of ferns and epiphytes (plants that grow on trees), creating an extensive library of botanical images. Muted pink, terracotta, and grey trailing plants and vines wind their way across the grey-blue cotton cushion, recreating the luscious jungle.

Our cushions are digitally printed in India onto cotton canvas, a process which minimizes waste and water, and paired with a contrasting100% cotton velvet reverse. They are also piped for added luxury and stuffed with a high quality feather pad.

'These beautiful ferns and trailing vines were inspired by photographs taken on a special pilgrimage to visit the Cloud Forests of Costa Rica. Once the cascading layout of the design was created, we filled the pattern using one of our densely printed ‘backing cloths’ carefully recreated as a print design.'
