This week I am bringing you a bumper edition of ‘Behind the Scenes’... It has been an exciting week of samples coming back from suppliers, and the usual plate spinning as we juggle the many aspects of running a small business!
Cushions
It has been a while since we have had any new cushions, and today as I was actually typing this newsletter our first samples arrived! There are a few colour tweaks that we need to do, but overall I am pretty pleased with them.
Scarves
We are eagerly awaiting stock of the new cashmere scarves for Christmas (sorry to mention it!). Below is a new design in 3 colours, plus we will be bringing back some of the best sellers.
Plus we have some new silk scarves due to arrive in next month. I have gone a bit crazy with our new Indian supplier as their print quality is so good, and made 8 new designs.
Pouches
These are still in the early stages, the ones below are made of paper as we are still waiting for the first real set of samples. They will also be made by our Indian supplier, and will have lots of lovely details such as a beaded tassel.
Craft Fabrics
Lots more fabric by the metre for sew at home projects is also on the horizon... We trialled this fabric earlier in the year with a small run, which sold out very quickly, so this has given me confidence to add in 8 more cotton poplins.
