Refund policy
If for any reason you are not satisfied, we will accept returns for homewares and gifts within 28 days and 14 days for clothing, 14 days for sale items.
Items must be returned in appropriate protective outer packaging, in their original condition with undamaged product packaging. Items must be in perfect condition for resale or we reserve the right to deduct a percentage from your refund value to compensate for our loss of sales. Certain products such as cut lengths of fabric and bespoke murals cannot be returned unless faulty.
We will only accept returns or faulty goods back for items purchased from our own website or the Clarissa Hulse studio shop. We do not pay postage for returns except on wallpaper in the UK only.
Wallpaper:
If you have spare rolls of wallpaper that don’t need anymore, as long as they are unopened, unused and in their original packaging, you can use the return slip contained in your order to send them back. Please make sure you write your order number on the return slip for the warehouse to locate it and let us know by email so we can process your refund.
Fabric:
Please order a sample before placing a fabric order to avoid disappointment as cut lengths of fabric cannot be returned or exchanged. They can only be returned to our studio if faulty.
All other products:
Items will be refunded or exchanged providing they are in their original condition and packaging.
Return and refund process
Once you have checked your item is returnable, please return your goods in their original condition to our studio within 28 days of receipt (14 days for sale items):

For us to successfully process your refund, please send us back the delivery slip with your order number, detail of goods returned – making a clear note of the reasons for return.
Refunds are usually processed within 5-7 working days once the returned goods are received.
We cannot take responsibility for any goods lost in transit, so please use a secure service when returning any unwanted goods.
Unfortunately, in the event of items being returned, we are unable to refund the cost of shipping unless the item is faulty or sent in error.
CLOTHING
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not and it is still eligible for a return, please email us at sales@clarissahulse.com for instructions on how to proceed.
Please send the email within 14 days of delivery. We can only authorise a return if you have notified us within 14 days. You will have another 14 days from when you contacted us to return your unwanted item.
Please return your unwanted items folded as you have received them in the original condition and packaging. Please return the bag if the item comes in a fabric bag. Thank you!
Clarissa Hulse reserves the right to refuse the return of any item that does not meet our conditions. Things that appear visibly worn are not eligible for return.
We monitor account activity and reserve the right to cancel orders, assess fees, and close accounts based on order or return behaviour.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We will accept returns for most of our products within 28 days. Please note that we are not responsible for the return postage costs except for faulty or incorrect items. You can return your order using the postal service of your choice, provided that it is returned to us by the due date. We strongly encourage you to send returns by a tracked signed for service as we won’t take responsibility for items damaged or lost in the return transit. Please keep your postage receipt with a tracking number until you have received your refund.
Clarissa Hulse is based in the UK. If you are outside of the UK, please write "RETURNED GOODS" and YOUR ORIGINAL ORDER NUMBER on the outside of the parcel - this will help speed up the returns process!
Please note that if you are returning from the EU, please mark the package as "BRITISH RETURN" to avoid additional charges. Any charges by UK customs will be deducted from the total amount to be refunded.
We regret not being able to accept Fabric returns unless is faulty or damaged.
