Enraptured by the biodiversity encountered on a visit to the cloud forests in Costa Rica, Clarissa photographed hundreds of species of ferns and epiphytes (plants that grow on trees), creating an extensive library of botanical images used to create the Cascading Kaleidoscope design. Muted pink, terracotta, and grey trailing plants and vines wind their way across the grey-blue background, recreating the luscious jungle.
