Description

These handy tote bags are made from 100% cotton and measure 35 x 40cm with a strap length of 60cm. They are perfect for when you just have a few pieces you want to carry around as they fold up nice and small, so can be fitted easily into a hand bag or suitcase. They are machine washable.

Enraptured by the biodiversity encountered on a visit to the cloud forests in Costa Rica, Clarissa photographed hundreds of species of ferns and epiphytes (plants which grow in trees) creating an extensive library of botanical images. Muted pink, terracotta and grey trailing plants and vines, wind their way across the charcoal cotton, recreating the luscious jungle on the cloth.

Cascading Kaleidoscope

'These beautiful ferns and trailing vines were inspired by photographs taken on a special pilgrimage to visit the Cloud Forests of Costa Rica. Once the cascading layout of the design was created, we filled the pattern using one of our densely printed ‘backing cloths’ carefully recreated as a print design.'
