Description

These highly versatile sarongs are made from 100% cotton and come in a co-ordinating tote bag that is big enough for all your beach accessories. They can be tied in numerous ways as a beach cover up, and can even work as a scarf or shawl if the chill sets in when out at night on holiday.

Enraptured by the biodiversity encountered on a visit to the Cloud forests in Cost Rica, Clarissa photographed hundreds of species of ferns and epiphytes (plants which grow in trees) creating an extensive library of botanical images. The Kaleidoscope design features many of these beautiful trailing plants and vines, winding their way delicately across the sarong. The Lagoon colourway set against a white background, features verdant greens, tranquil blues and highlights of pistachio yellow, and a printed border to frame the design and matches the bag to perfection.

'These beautiful ferns and trailing vines were inspired by photographs taken on a special pilgrimage to visit the Cloud Forests of Costa Rica. Once the cascading layout of the design was created, we filled the pattern using one of our densely printed ‘backing cloths’ carefully recreated as a print design.'
