This week in the studio we have been looking at seasonal decorating trends, and I wanted to share the top 3 that we love...
Shades of Green
Using Green in the home has been popular for a number of years, and it is easy to see why. As it is one of the most prominent colours in nature, it brings balance and harmony to a space, and is so easy to live with. It is no coincidence that both McDonald's and Starbucks have rebranded to use green over the past years! But don’t let that put you off...

I have been using green in my designs for a while as there are so many beautiful hues, and also I find it pairs so well with other colours. The trend for deep forest greens and teals is now shifting towards more olive and brown tones.
Pops of Vibrant Colour
Well this trend was clearly made for me! I have always loved a pop of colour in my home.. it is so cheering and fun, and immediately lifts the spirits. You can go for a low key version with just a cushion or piece of art, or move to level 2 with some fun bed linen... OR to really bring your house to life, how about covering a wall with a mural?

Mixing with Natural Textures
Texture is such an important element that is often neglected when decorating, as the focus can be so much on the layout and colour of a scheme. There is nothing more lovely than bringing the grounding elements of nature into your home. Wooden floors, natural stone or marble are of course wonderful, but if you have constraints of budget consider rattan rugs, wicker lampshades or wool and velvet throws and cushions to bring texture.
