SHIPPING
All Clarissa’s products are designed in her Islington studio. Many are kept in stock and will be dispatched directly from the studio. However there are some exceptions and delivery times may vary from product to product, as explained below.
If your items are in stock, we will aim to dispatch your order within 2-5 working days.
Any items that need to be made-to-order including some cushions may take slightly longer.
Our current wallpaper and fabric collection stock is held by our manufacturer, they will send your fabric or wallpaper order directly to you in the UK. For overseas orders, please contact us. Our Outlet fabric collection is stocked in our studio. To avoid extra shipping charge, Outlet fabrics will be sent folded and not on a roll. If you wish to receive it on a roll, please contact the studio for a shipping quote.
We always try to send your entire order in a single delivery with the exception of any items that need to be made to order. In this case your order may be shipped in multiple packages, but you’ll only be charged once. We will always let you know if there will be any delays.
Once shipped you will be notified of your delivery slot. If the delivery is unsuccessful there will be one further free attempt at delivery before the order is sent back to the studio. If the order needs to be shipped again you will first need to pay another delivery charge. We do not deliver on weekends or bank holidays.
DELIVERY CHARGES
Our standard delivery rates apply to mainland UK while there are additional charges for remote regions and the rest of the world. We are sorry but due to fuel price increases we have recently been forced to raise our shipping prices slightly.
Samples Post – £1.80 via Royal Mail
Large letter items (Phone cases, greetings cards, postcard packs and A4 prints, washbags small & large, glasses cases, purses, packable bags & notebooks)– £3 – First Class Royal Mail large letter post (not tracked)
Orders less than £100 – £6.95 by courier (DHL, DX secure, DPD)
Orders over £100 – Free delivery by courier (DHL, DX secure, DPD)
REGIONAL UK CHARGES
Standard charges for remote regions of the UK are as follows. (Bulky or heavy orders may be required to pay an additional surcharge.)
The Highlands and Islands of Scotland – £15
UK Islands (Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly and Isle of Wight) – £15
CHANNEL ISLANDS and REST OF THE WORLD
We are happy to ship our products anywhere in the world with the exception of lampshades which are too fragile. We prefer to ship cushions without their pads internationally to reduce bulk & backing cloth artworks will be sent unmounted. Clarissa Hulse products are sold in Pounds Sterling on a delivery duty unpaid basis. The recipient may have to pay local VAT, import duty or a formal customs entry fee prior to or on delivery. Additional taxes, fees or levies may apply according to local legislation and customers are advised to check these details themselves before placing the order. This will be handled by the local courier company.
